Vegan Philly Sandwich

Delicious, light and full with immunity boosting ingredients like Turmeric, Black Pepper, Carrots and Mushrooms.
This Vegan Philly Steak Recipe is easy, healthy and will please everyone!

Preparation time: 45 mins (30 mins for chopping & 15 mins for cooking)

Difficulty: Easy (as long as you’re fine with chopping)

Extra Tips

You can use Ada’s Vegan Cheddar instead of Ada’s Vegan Brie to make the cheesy sauce.

If you want to turn this recipe Gluten Free, you’d need to get:
– Tamari Sauce instead of the Soy Sauce
– Gluten Free Sandwich Rolls

Ingredients

Ada’s Vegan Brie
– 500 grs of chopped Mushrooms
– 500 grs of julienned Green Peppers
– 250 grs of julienned Carrots
– 2 sliced Onions
– 1 tsp of Turmeric
– 1 tsp of Cayenne Pepper
– 1 tsp of Black Pepper
– 1 tsp Paprika
– 1 tsp Liquid Smoke (optional)
– 2 tbsps of Soy Sauce
– 2 tbsps of Mustard
– 4 tbsps of Olive Oil
– 6 Sliced open Sandwich Rolls

Recipe

1- Coat the bottom of a wok with Olive Oil and place it over medium-high heat.

2- Add the Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Carrots and Onions.

3- Sauté for about 5 minutes until vegetables are slightly softened.

4- Add Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper, Black Pepper, Paprika and optional Liquid Smoke.

5- Continue to sauté for around 5 more minutes.

6- Add Soy Sauce & Mustard and keep mixing.

7- Divide the mixture between the 6 sliced open sandwich rolls.

8- In a bowl, add hot water to Ada’s Vegan Brie in small doses while combining with the fork to get a cheesy sauce consistency.

9- Add the cheesy sauce on top of the mixture in the sandwich.
